Reply With QuoteFWIW - Got a reply from customer support: "...I can confirm you that all our chassis are designed to use the original recoil log of your rifle. In your case it must respect the size of your standard savage recoil lug. It cannot be wider or taller than the original or it won’t fit in the chassis. Since our chassis are made of aluminum it doesn’t require a bigger recoil log like a synthetic would. So if you still have your original recoil lug you can measure it to choose a new one but personally I would simply keep that one."
