I got the boot this week....

    Well....
I came home the other day and momma says that I need to sleep down back! I work the graveyard shift and sleep during the day. I try to keep my room dark. We are getting some work done on the house so she thought it better for me to sleep down back in my gun room....where it's dark.

Somehow I have a feeling she might try to make this permanent! Lol

I'm the Boss. I make sure what she wants gets done.

Shift work can be hard, especially if you have a family.
My daughter and son in law anniversary is today and he has to work a double at the mill today. So they won't be going out tonight.
He went in this morning at 7:00A.M. and gets off at 11:00 P.M. tonight. Their has been many times he has been what they call frozen at the job.
My daughter said he is schedule to work 64 hours this coming week. He works at a steel mill as a crane operator

Let me guess.... He works at AK?? And a crane operator is not the guy you want locking up due to fatigue...

Pulled many an all-nighter & 3rd shift work in construction... I feel ya'.

    That's right
I have asked him how high up he is and he would tell me how many steps it is up to the cab.
    300 ton crane etc.
They are hiring if anybody wants to work
You must be able to work hard, put up with hot work, dirty work, loud noise, can think, and if you have an accident OSHA will be all over you, pass written a test, and the big one "pass a drug test."
Construction work can be hard work depending on what you do in it.

Work hard when your young, work your way up thru the ranks, save your monies from all your hard work and extra responsibilities and then you will be in control of your future. Then you can retire when you want to retire.
