It could be a 16. Look on the left side of the barrel. I can't tell, is it a heavy barrel?
I bought this 3 days ago.
It has an accutrigger, simple synthetic stock, blind stagger feed 22-250, and stainless receiver.
S/N is G1399**

The Dunning-Kruger effect is alive and well.

Looks like a 12 fvss
Early fvss wasn't fluted, later they were. Finding anything on a fvss is hard
It says 12 on the barrel, and it is heavy. Someone spray paint all over the rifle.
I drove to the pawn shop because I wanted a Sav 110 short action staggered action. I am making a 20 degree V block for a Stevens 200 center feed, and I wanted to make the stock more universal and fit a staggered too. A couple weeks ago I made 45 degree V block for short action. The centerfeed retainer clip can be fitted in a notch. But with a 20 degree, there is interference, so I will have to narrow the clip.
I have no use for the Sav 12 barrel, stock, or scope. The ring/bases are good. The action is good. The magazine is good. I would guess the trigger is good.
