    Bat action

I am thinking of building another rifle, i see Bat is having a sale on some of their actions, so if i make the purchase, would it be practical to install a barrel with the Savage style concept using the nut ect. has anyone ever come across using the Savage nut concept on high end actions

Wouldn't see any reason why not. I believe BAT uses 1-1/16 - 16 threads on their 700 pattern hunting/tactical actions so a Remage nut should do the trick.

Mausingfield is about as high end as it gets and they are set up for Savage style barrel system.

Custom action and a Bugholes Bugnut barrel for 500. Custom and accurate.
The Dunning-Kruger effect is alive and well.
