    Creedmoor Build

Started life as a 270 110. 1 or 10 changes later and this is what I came up with.

    Boyds Stock
    Rifle Basix Trigger (drop in)
    Criterion Barrel
    Tactical Bolt Handle (on order)
    Burris Xtreme Rings
    Burris XTR 5-25x50

Nice job. I also recently did a 6.5 Creedmoor build and love it. Look forward to a range report.

Thanks. I've always loved the Vietnam era M40 so that was my inspiration

    Josh,

Nice build man!! I've got one in the works using the same stock and a 25" Criterion Chambered in 260 Rem Match. How long is that barrel you've got on yours?

It's a 26" heavy varmint. I made end up adding a can down the road. All depends on the hearing protection act.

I hear you on that... I was at the range last weekend, and a former Military guy had his Rem700 .308 with him.... He had a can on it and when he would shoot, it sounded like a flint cap miss fire on an old black powder muzzle loader!! Plink, plink, I've heard air rifles that were louder than what his sounded like.

Thanks for the info, I'm running the same contour.

    Cheers,

Looks like Walnut (no gloss) and is for sure a Pro Varmint. But I'm curious as well. I went with the Coyote on mine...

yall are correct. It's an unfinished Walnut Pro VArmint. It has a couple coats of Danish Oil and I waxed it with paste wax. Absolutely no shine to it whatsoever.
