Hello everyone -

My name is Mark and I'm new to Savage pistols, having purchased one this afternoon after a tip I received on the Colt forum. I'm from Florida and am a big fan of classic .380s, owning a couple of Colt Hammerless, including a very nice barrel bushing gun. I was excited to find this one below available for a reasonable price. It is on its way to me now and I will post more pictures when I receive it.

Details - Model 1907, s/n B2334. It seems this one was part of the very first batch of these pistols made in 1913. The finish appears to be original. Any more info or tips will be greatly appreciated. I do reload and have a nice mild lead 95 grain recipe that my old Colts seem to like very much. Can I expect those to work well in the Savage?
