    Savage III .243 Trigger

I have a Savage III .243 that I got as my first gun probably about 18-20 yrs ago. I am looking for a aftermarket trigger or if y'all think it is better, I might just get a local gunsmith to work the factory one. I was wondering if y'all new what the factory pull (lb) was on these guns back then?

    Thanks guys

If it's a factory 3-screw, it is adjustable, so the pull weight isn't fixed. The problem with Savages have always been in the tollerances. Sometimes things are sloppy and variable, sometimes wonderful.
I'm a firm believer in the theory that if it bleeds, I can kill it.
