I have a 2003 savage FCSS 300 win mag Weather warrior that had an internal stager feed blind magazine.
I just purchased as HS precision stock with Savage detachable magazine (centerfeed)
It appears that where the blind magazine steel notched & attached into receiver, that the receiver steel hits the magazine at the rear.
Maybe 1/8". Is it necessary to remove that to make the magazine work?
If so, are there any instructions out there on how to do the removal and what tools are needed?
I have pictures to show my issue, but forum says I no longer have permission to post? Any idea why that is? Has been a long time since I formally logged on?????
