Do all LH Savage rimfire bolt-action has press-fit barrels?

Or do some of them use screwed-in barrels?

I want a threaded rimfire to use suppressed but I want one with a screwed-in barrel to give me the best chance at an accurate gun.

I honestly can't remember if the Mark I/II/93R barrels are just pinned or if they're threaded and pinned. Personally, I would wait for the new LH B-series to hit the market in a few months. They have a screwed in barrel, better magazines and improved extraction.

    Let's hope those aren't "vaporware".

Not vaporware, they're "officially" coming out this year. Synthetic stock and matte blue only. Here's the SKU numbers...

    #70840 = LH .17 HMR
    #70540 = LH 22 WMR
    #70240 = LH 22LR

Nice. I looked around and they are not yet available; perhaps they'll be released after SHOT.

Most likely will be late spring or early summer before they're available.

Mine is just pinned. I took it out with a hammer and dowel rod after removing the pin so I wouldn't say it's a press fit more of a snug fit.

Did you replace the barrel with some other brand?

No, I took it off to have it threaded and re-installed
