    Parallax adj issue

i have purchased quite a few scopes over the years, but i am curious about the Parallax adjustments, last week i purchased a new scope. i notice at the range when i adj for moving my head up and down it is fine, but when i move my head side to side it is not good, i have never notice this on my other scopes, is this common what i am experiencing with this new scope,

It's common on low-rent scopes, but not decent optics; unless something got jarred loose.
I'm a firm believer in the theory that if it bleeds, I can kill it.

The best way to adjust your scope. Aim at the sky. Adjust the ocular (eye piece) until the reticle is sharp. Now fine tune it and recognize small changes until you know the reticle is focused perfectly. you will not need to touch this again except for a very minor adjustment........................................ .................................. Now train your eye on a target of known distance and using the parallax adjustment focus on the target Once the target is clear check for reticle movement on the target fine tune until it is correct. you should be in perfect focus and there should be no parallax. If needed fine tune with very minor adjustment on the reticle. Probably less than 1/8 turn either way on a fast focus design.
The Dunning-Kruger effect is alive and well.
