The "best" stock will cost many times what you paid for the rifle, considering you bought a "loss leader" from Cabelas for a very cheap price. Nonetheless, it can shoot tiny groups even with that stupid plastic stock, but can really shine with a run of the mill laminate for under $200. Boyds, Stocky's, EABrown will give you plenty to drool over.
Banning a gun will not solve what is a mental health crisis inflamed by incendiary rhetoric on social and television media. The first amendment in this case is less precious and more likely the causal factor than the second amendment.
Manners for synthetic Google "fine wooden rifle stocks" for some beautiful stuff on the hardwood and laminate end. Look to pay between 500 and 3500 for the best. If you meant what would be a good stock for mr to shoot from the bench/prone/hunting/yadayada, that is another question alltogether.
