G'day lads, so I got me a 243 axis and decided to chuck the stock bases and rings in favor of a rail and warne rings. But I think the rail that I installed and locktighted in place might be backwards. It basically looks identical either way but there is a slight scallop on one side opposite the opening. Just wondering if it even matters on a 0 moa rail?

on a Zero MOA rail, it won't make any difference. But it does look correct to me... The flatter end (it looks that way anyway with the beveled edge at a 45 degree angle) Although I will say, that it looks thicker on the ocular side.
Cheers! I'm pretty sure it's meant to go the other way but it doesn't seem to netter!

It sorta has a scallop on one side I assume for the ejection port

The scallop is supposed to be on the ejection port side which is more important in firearms where the top of the bolt is exposed. It allows you to get your fingers in there. I don't think it will matter on the Axis.
