You may need to sand the feed lips to allow the round to sit higher in the mag. I've never had a Savage feed from an AICS style mag without doing a lot of tuning.
I have a stealth. I bought the magpul asic-style pmag. The problem I have is that on all three magazines that I have I am having feeding issues. Either the bolt won't pick up the round or if it does the bullet hits the front of the chamber and i have to back off it a little and try again...and it usually will feed then. When I push up on the magazines as I'm running the bolt forward it always picks up the round but will hit something and not chamber or drag across the feed lips. I thought of buying the accurate magazines and trying them...but I don't want to spend the money and still have the problem. I searched the forum and couldn't find where anyone else was having a similar issue. They certainly feel sloppy and loose in the magwell. Any help would be much appreciated.
