    Trigger Swap?

    Can I install the Accu-trigger in a pre-Accu-stuff Model 16?

I would like to know if it will work before I pull the action from the stock.

I got an Accu-trigger for free and thought it might drop right in...

    Thanks guys!

Check the FAQ Section. If cant find the info there try a search on this site. I've seen threads on this a couple of times but I don't really have any info to offer.

I'm doing this on my phone so some search options don't fair too well.

But I will take a look at F&Q.

If some doesn't mind saying it fit...or no it wont....that's fine too!

I think there is mixed findings.

Its not supposed to work but one guy I recall tried it and it did work.

Might be one of those some and some and you need to try it.

I know the bottom bolt release to top bolt is not a slam dunk, but I got it to work reliably with a bit of bending.

I am going to play with heat on the old part to see if that works better as one report of a break when he tried it (he had the welder to fix it with an angle so no a problem for him)

sometimes trying it yourself is the best information.

It does not mean others are wrong, it may mean there is enough variation that some work and some do not.

There is a fair amount of info on how to tune a three screw trigger. I've go mine down to 2.5 lbs and honestly it is nice. But if that's not what you want .....

Well it does fit...had to adjust the screw that rest on the safety. Had to learn the operational aspects of the trigger as I worked on it.

Now to adjust the pull down a little...Google is my friend I'm sure!
