    Savage 99- slide safety


    Is anyone out there familiar w/ a Model 99 that utilizes a tang slide safety along w/ old slide safety down on lever?

    It was a mod called "Thumbsafe" made by Sports Equipment company back in the 40's IIRC.

    What are you looking for?
