    IMR 4320

    Is there anyone using IMR 4320 ? Just curious, I'm getting good accuracy with my .223 and .243. Don't have a chrono, 53gr.223 show's in the book 2900-3200 vel. 70gr .243 show's 3300-3500 vel. any feed-back welcome.

I use it in my 223. Get around 3100 with 52's with .3 groups.

I use it in my .308 Win. I found a skeet range that had 16 lbs sitting on the counter. They sold it all too me for $10 a lb. That was last year..... still working on it. I also use in my TC Encore's ..... .308, 6.5 Sweede, 6.5 Bench Rest Mag (6.5 x 30-30).

    WOW....Deal.

Best powders I've found for the .308 was Varget. I've tried bunches of others and always came back to Varget....FWIW.

For my 6.5 Swede (Modern action Savage) RL-22....one hole every time with both the Berger 140gr. VLD, and the 120gr. Barnes Triple-X. The Swede is just a wonderful cartridge. Same or better downrange energy as the .308 and nowhere near the recoil. Again.....FWIW.
