Thank you!! I just had a 6.5 Creedmoor on her, but I couldn't get it to shoot to save my life. So, I spun my trusty lil .243Win back on... GAME ON!!

    Sweet rifle!

For a minute there I thought I was looking at picture of the back side of the moon!

I've got a 9 1/4 twist 243. What twist are you using, and with what bullet?

She is the factory tube, 9.25" twist, cut down to 20". I am running:
    Hornady 105 AMax's
    Pushing 2875 currently
    40.5grns IMR4350
    CCI250 primers
    Lapua Brass
    OAL 2.815"
    .010 off lands.

Also, I am at 6240ftasl, so my density altitude is a bit different from most shooters. The 105's stabilize perfectly fine up here. Being in the mountains helps alot!! LOL

How do you like the MPA BA chassis. I've noticed you've had a variety of stocks/chassis over the years! Will the BA Lite be the last?

Out of all the chassis systems I really like the look of the BA Lite.

    And good shooting.

LOL... Well, while I really do like the BA Lite Chassis... it too is now gone. My Predator will be sittin in the new MDT ESS Chassis shortly. After I bought the BA Lite, I was invited on a night hog hunt back down in my home state of Texas. There isn't any sort of provisions for NV on the BA Lite. I wasn't going to sell the MPA, but other things just came up! The BA Lite is definitely an awesome chassis though!!

Seems MDT will have a great product with the ESS chassis, really be interested in your option of it.

I'm running the MDT long scope rail to mount a NV clip-on in a McMillian stock and that works well. I would like to have an adjustable check and side mounted rails and I think the MPA lite would be perfect.

But the ESS will be easier to get here in Australia and also slightly cheaper than the MPA Lite chassis.

I will definitely be giving my opinion on the ESS! You are right, I have been through ALOT of different stocks and chassis now. I have yet to find a stock or chassis, that there isn't something that I didn't like about them. I actually got away from stocks, just to keep from having to deal with bottom metals and inletting and bedding. I have my fingers crossed though, that the ESS will live up to my expectations!! Everyone seems to be pushing me towards the Cadex chassis systems, but I am having a really hard time with the price tags for the options that I want.

Yes, I am picky, but what works works, what don't don't, and I don't want to spend a fortune finding something that works!!

Yeah, I've had a few chassis/stocks over the years too, but keep coming back to a McMillian A3 stock with CDI BM.

The NV clip-on is a gen 2+ Armasight CO MR SDi, I wish I went with the HDi version but at the time I couldn't afford the extra for the upgrade. Having NV makes a whole new shooting experience. I also have a gen 1 (CORE) Armasight Vampire 3x NV rifle scope and can't believe the resolution of this scope, it's on par with gen3+ devices. You do need to use a IR illuminator on darker nights but the sight picture looks real good.
