Savage hog hunter 338 winmag stock

Hi, I'm new to site but would like to swap the factory stock for another one. Would like to hunt so no tactical one. Seems Boyds don't offer hog hunter long action. I have access to B/C but only DBM.
2 questions: stock for it with blind and if not can I convert it?
    thanks guys
    David

Your Savage should fit any Long Action stock that has the bolt release provision that you have and the center feed magazine inlet.More than likely yours is a top release. As for the DBM conversion, that is pricey but doable.
The Dunning-Kruger effect is alive and well.

I had a hog Hunter in a Boyd's thumbhole for a while it dropped right in. You have to switch the magazine over and for it into the Boyd's but it's kinda plug and play. It was my first aftermarket stock and I figured it out. I still have the stock and am planning on using in the future if I run across a donor short action.

For the boyds I have to install dbm. Is any stock with blind? What is difference between staggerfeed and centerfeed is it making a difference in choice of stock?

Mine used the factory blind mag from my hog Hunter. It just popped out of the factory stock with a L-shaped retention clip and press fit into the Boyd's. Are you saying your hog Hunter didn't come with a blind mag from the factory?

You just need to forget its a hog hunter and select a 110 instead. They have several different choices for blind mag/top bolt release.

^^what he said. The action is the same. Just make sure to select the right bolt release configuration, and action screw spacing.
