    Scope rings on a Axis?

What height rings on a axis using weaver 2 piece base, with a 3.5-10 with 45mm obj.?

    Thanks,
    jr 1968.

Mediums should work but barely. I run 44mm with leupold rifleman rings. Nice fit and cheek weld. Also recommend Burris zee signatures

I had to go with X-High Weaver rings with 2-piece standard weaver base in order for the bolt to clear the ocular lens.

You might consider a one-piece scope rail.

If you have a Nikon scope - which typically has a larger eye piece - I would go with the high rings. I tried a medium size Burris rings on top of EGW mount and the knob was touching the eye piece slightly.
