Thumbs Up Back from the range

After sighting in my ought6 Axis last month my shoulder was somewhat sore. So I came home and made some changes. I added a Witt muzzle break and filled the butt with resin, steel shot, and bondo. I then added resin to the fore stock and floated the barrel. I went to the range today and fired 20 rnds. I was 3 moa high from when I shot before the mods. Zeroed it back in and shot some nice groups. It made a world of difference. Nice soft shooter now. FWIW I also did the spring swap on the trigger. I would recommend the Witt break to anyone wanting an affordable MB. This was at 100yrds. I plan on going out to its limit which i think will be around 300 with the flimsy stock and current scope.

EDIT: I was shooting from a bench using bipod and no sandbags or rear support. shot MOA and slightly over using 150gr WWB.

Nice. I have an axis in 308 and it sure does kick you pretty good, especially with those 178's. That lightweight sure is nice, but does nothing to help with recoil.
