    Another Kansan joining up


    Howdy to you all.

    I'm in Kansas and have a couple of savage rifles-- a pre-accutrigger 30-06 111 and a savage axis in 22-250. I got my Savage 30-06 years ago in college because they offered a gun for left handers at the time I was looking for a deer rifle. A wonderful choice as it shoots well. Nicholas Brewer and Ron Coburn have my admiration for what they did with the Model 110.

    I'm a bit of a gun nut and have some other long guns and handguns, but am more of a hunter than anything--especially deer and squirrels. I also love to fish, especially with the fly rod.

    I'm in the clergy as an occupation and working on a doctorate in American history.
