    Hello fron New Yawk


    Just joined up, a new Savage shooter from Long Island. Having always heard tales of the out-of-the-box Savage accuracy, I picked up an 11VT in .308 from Dick's and have been having fun. I started in shooting in 1986, have all kinds. I build and compete with muzzleloaders, have a bunch. Milsurps are my main thing have a good collection of WW1 and WW2 from many countries but especially like the ugly old Mosin-Nagants. Until now the only scope I owned was on my Mosin PU Sniper, but the Savage has taken over lately, and I've been actually looking at scope ads. Also looking into a B-17 .17 caliber as a bud of mine has one, and it shoots tiny little groups. I like that kind of thing. Anyway glad to be here and look forward to picking up lotsa information, and sharing what I can. Happy New Year!
