I shoot 40s in mine which are better than the lighter ones. They are accurate enough to hit a dumb grouse standing on a dirt road if I aim for the big part. But I did give up on head shots.
The 22mag is not known for super accuracy. I have tried a few different 40 grain and even some 30 grain in my 93fss and not real impressed at 50 yds. Read that some folks have had success with 50 grain on other forums, but do not know brand or twist. I tried a couple Federal 50 grain and after two, I stopped. Once I got home, it hit me that this rifle is only a 1:16 twist and may not stabilize. Does anybody have experience with 50 grain in a 16 twist 22 mag? Results?

Nobody shoots 50"s?
Funny, but my 93 shoots dimes at 50 yards with the plain old Winchester 40 gr hp Super X. Different guns, different results I guess.
