XLR Evolution is nice, but you have to mount the scope considerably higher to clear the barrel shroud.... I like having my scope as low to the bore as possible.

Have a XLR Evolution on my 110 flat back 260 rem and will have a XLR element for my rem 700 6.5 x 47 Lapua. Do not like that you need an allen wrench to adjust the Evolution stock.

So for the element I will use a MDT fixed stock adapter and Luth-AR MBA-1 stock.

Ashbury Precision Ordnance chassis, a work in progress. Savage 11 Hoghunter .308 barreled action in an APO chassis, Ken Farrel 20 moa rail, TPS low rings and Vortex HS-T 4-16x44. A machinist nearby, who manufactures guns, suppressors, etc, made the muzzle brake. I'm getting ready to have the chassis body, hand guard, buffer tube and castle nut Cerakoted in FDE. The muzzle brake will be Cerakoted black. Due to many surgeries, I'm recoil sensitive these days. My son, a machinist, made made me a mercury tube system that will go in the buffer tube. I look forward to shooting it once it's complete.
