My big present this year was one more gun safe. SHMBO got tired of running into guns all over the house so she got me another gun safe; this one "says" it will hold 64 long guns - we shall see. Anyhow, got it into the basement (that was a chore that took 4 big folks to manhandle down the stairs)!! It will take at least a week to get it set up with the Golden Rod heater and two strip lights before shuffling the firearms around. One more fun project!

It's pretty much a given that whatever they state the capacity is, cut it in half.

They should really update that. They would probably sell bigger more expensive safes if they stated that said unit holds 48 guns / 24 scoped rifles or whatever..

Of course they may make more by selling us TWO safes... LOL

They will hold the stated amount, but only if they're single barrel firearms without an optic and you don't mind them being packed in so tight that you have to take half of them out to be able to get one out from the back.
