338-06 and bump dies

hey guys i want to bump my shoulders back but can't find bump dies. does anyone make them for the 338-06?

you could use your full length sizer and just do a partial resize, that will bump the shoulders back a little.

you can do a partial neck size like that but when you back off on the die you move away from the shoulder

Screw the die in a bit at a time until you have moved the shoulder the desirewd amount.

I have actually moved material from the bottom of the sizing die to get the desired effect on a wildcat I was working on.

358Hammer since it is based on the 06 do you think i could get by with a neck sizing bushing bump die for the 30-06 and just use larger bushings for the 338 neck size? there is according to my book 1/2 degree difference in shoulder angle. I really didn't want to size the whole case if i didn't have to.
