Couldn't find a model 11 BY. Do you mean the 11 VT?

Barrel length is 24".
Stock is cheap plastic, but yes, it has pillars.
The scope would make an excellent trot line weight.
Does anyone have any info on the specs for this model in 308 such as barrel length, twist rate, etc. Is the stock pillar bedded? How good /bad is the scope? I haven't owned a riffle in years and this look s like a good rifle with a good combination of features and cost.

VISA loves me since I joined this site.
If your talking about the 11VT, I just bought one two weeks ago in 308. Love the gun. The stock has aluminum pillars, barrel is full free floated. Scope I took off as soon as I got home and switched with a Vortex (I did throw that scope on an older 225 win, and it works good on that gun), I just wanted the better scope on the newer gun. The accutrigger is the target accutrigger and adjusts down lower than the regular one. Rate of twist I think is 1-10. This rifle SHOOTS! I am still working on loads for it, but its an inch or less right off the bat.
Bought mine last year 20 inch bull barrel accutrigger shoots 150 grain win gray box just under an inch at 160 yards just like I bought it
Targets acu trigger or Varmint Acutrigger ?
3 I know of. Hunter, down to 2.5 lbs
Varmint down to 1.5 lbs
Target, red blade and down to 8 oz or .......
Does anyone know twist rate of VT 11 in .223?
I think all Savage .223s are 1:9.

It's a 9 twist. Got mine used (basically new with 20 rds fired) a few weeks back and did some load development yesterday. Excellent results so far. Most loads shot less than moa, with best being .56" @ 224 yards. It was easy to hit clay pigeons out to 550 yards. Very impressed so far.
Sorry if this is a little off topic, but does anyone know what specific model Bushnell it is? (I couldn't find it in the dick's link.) I might pick one of these up, but would immediately put a different scope/rings on it and am curious what I might get selling the Bushnell on ebay.
i don't remember the model but found it on amazon and it sells for about $100.00 i sold mine to a buddy for $50.00 i was surprised though because the glass was not to bad and it would focus down to 10 yards and had fine cross hairs. i almost kept it for one of my 22 rifles but i do not use (or buy) Chinese made scopes. and all my rifles already have scopes so i really did not need it.
Thank you, lone gunman. Sounds like entry level, but not junk.
Hornady 75 bthp with varget. Loaded from 22 gr to 26 gr in .5 increments. 24 gr shot the .56" group. 26 gr was second, but might be a little hot when summer comes around plus it was very compressed. COAL at 2.240"
Oh, and I decided to use CCI 450 magnum primers this time around. If the load is consistent then one less primer to stock.
I just looked some more on line but was unable to nail down the exact Bushnell model name: Banner or Sharpshooter. Having said that, all of the Bushnell scopes sold on Savage package guns seem to retail for about $100 new, and resell on ebay for not much more than $50, usually a bit less.
its the sharpshooter, that's the name i remember now that you mention it.
here is a you tube video on it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Prl4hZgComg
