    Savage BA Stealth in 308

Have read a lot of post on the BA Stealth in 6.5 but not many in 308, Does anybody shoot 308 anymore? I know the 6.5 is more for long range but Ive already got everything in 308 and not wanting to re-invest in another caliber at this time, So If you have a BA Stealth in 308 I would like to hear the pros and cons Thanks,

In my humble and somewhat ignorant opinion If your staying under 300 yds the 308 is perfect.

The 7.62/308 in the hands of a good marksman, can use it out 1000 yards. I I did when I was shooting M14's and M1A's just my .2 I use 308 in my Striker, shots very nice.

Mine is on the way back to savage. Will not shoot under 2 moa. Thought we had it fixed but it's not. Got my shipping label a couple of hours ago. I think it's a barrel promblem.

Wow mine is due to arrive next week, I hope it does a lot better than that, Isnt it the same as a 10 FCP-SR only in a chassis, That's what I thought it was, My FCP-SR is a tack driver, Hope they get it fixed and treat you right, My fcp-sr Shoots out to 5oo yds just fine, That's as far as Ive shot it, so far, figure it should do 6-800 no problem

I have a lrp in 6.5 that shoots lights out. I have confidence they will get it straightened out. Here is a group from my lrp. If only the stealth will shoot this good.

That is sweet, Let me know how your stealth turns out, anxious to get mine, It must be a bad barrel, I bought a ruger that way, couldn't hit a papper plate at 50 yds but about 2 out of 10 trys, They said the barrel was bad, Have a good one Merry Christmas and very good shooting by the way
