    358 Winchester in long action

I don't see why it wouldn't but 358 Winchester can be used on a long action without feeding problems right? I'm thinking of building a suppressed thumper. Also, does anybody here do barrel threading for a reasonable price? There are no local gunsmiths I trust to thread for a suppressor.

It will work fine, go for it. I built a 308 on a long action and have no feed problems from the internal mag. Can't help on the barrel threading though.

I had feeding issues doing a 243 on a long action and I found it impractical to try to use a short action centerfeed box. Made a great single shot though.

may want to consider a custom barrel. not sure if you could find a fast twist 35 cal blank but if your running it suppressed you may get the urge to run heavy pills subsonic. I could only imagine how fun a 310gr cast sub/suppressed would be.
