    Military Match Bullets


    Does anyone know the Ballistics Coefficient of the Military M118 173 gr. bullet and the bullet in the M118LR 175 gr. is it the same as the Sierra MK bullet an inquiring mind wants too know

    the m118lr is using the sierra 175 mk bullet. as for the 173 i have shot some and the bc is going to be real close to the 175 mk just not quite as consistant as the mk in my barrel but still very good.

    M118 ,173gr have a G7 bc of.240
    M118lr,175 have a G7 bc of .252

    Viper any ideal what that translates to with the older system? what was it g2 or something.

    looks like a G7 .240 is about .468 G1
    and G7 .252 is about .495 G1

    this is just by looking at bergers site and comparing,I wouldn&#39;t bet the farm that my numbers are correct.
    I don&#39;t even know if you can convert the to values correctly ??? ???

    Viper after reading the link you had i am going to say you can approximately double the G7 and get the G1 which would work out real close on the 175 hpbt 252x2=504 and serria shows 505 for the bc. Doesn&#39;t mean it will work for all bullets tho.
