    Sear Screw and nut

    Hello all,
So my brother and I were walking through the gun shop and hanging from the ceiling was a 99 take down in .303. Somebody had put about a 1/16" of varnish on the wood. The varnish had run in some areas and some was slopped over onto the metal. I have the rifle disassembled to clean it up and remove the varnish. During disassembly I found the sear screw was broken. The nut was missing when I purchased the rifle.

Looking at the Numrich sight I found the sear screw (at least I hope it's the right one) But I'm having trouble finding the correct nut.
If you could help with the a model number I would be most grateful. Reading Mad Dog's article, What model 99 do I have? I'm still a bit confused.
The SN 1405XX I found was built in 1913. I'd say except for the varnish it's in good shape for its age.
There is an circled H in the lever area.
20" barrel and shotgun style butt plate.
No checkering on the stock or forearm.

Any thoughts on which model this is?

E Bay for part, if it's the right one. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Savage-99-Us...igsAAOSwPCVYB9-~

    If it has a 20 inch barrel I think it's a 99H, carbine.
Don't know if you have ammo or brass, but I got brass from Graf&Sons.
    Nice save!

Two different animals, it's an 1899H not a 99H. Although I'd assume both sear screw would fit each model anyways.
    Savage- "never say never".
