Yeah, that is true. I have a home made one in one of my rifles and two store bought ones in two others. Another shooter was interested in putting them in his rifles and I could not remember where I obtained the two store bought.
Stockade gun stocks has one, also pacific tool and gauge makes a kit with a new BAS.
I ended up making a couple on my lathe out of a piece of scrap brass and some small ball bearings. It looks identical to the stockade one.
Get the correct size balls (4.5mm) and just press them in.
