Can I remove the camo laminated to the Predator barrel?

I am leaning towards buying the model 10 Predator Hunter Brush. I like the camo on the stock but not on the barrel. The Predator Hunter Max 1 model is more what I like - camo stock, blued barrel - but I don't want the extra barrel length or weight of that model. Does anybody know what kind of camo they applied (paint? dip? tape?) and what would be involved to remove it from the barrel of the Brush model?

    Thanks!

If it was mine, I would leave it on. If I HAD to remove it, I would try Zip-Strip.

I will leave it on unless I can identify an easy and effective way to remove it. Unfortunately the gun store where I will buy it will have to special order it and they are not familiar with how the camo was applied. I figured I'd get better advice here anyway!

I believe that it is dipped. And as I understand, the barrel is roughed up to improve adhesion. IF you did remove it, you would not like the appearance.

Buy the max 1, then trade the barrel for the one you want
