    Bell & Carlson Medalist Issues

I recently purchased a Bell & Carlson Medalist stock for my Savage 10 FP w/Accutrigger.

    The issues are:
There is no (pilot) hole for the rear trigger guard screw.
The two forearm swivels studs break out into the barrel channel.

Is this normal, the dealer says they "all" come that way!

Just went and checked a B&C medalist I have in the box. Haven't used it because of other issues. Someone put some long swivel bolts in your stock to get them to stick out in the barrel channel, mine are no way near protruding. When you drill for the guard screw be careful not to use too long a screw it can interfer with the trigger. Check the fit on reciever and lug, mine surely needs bedded thats keeps it in the box for now. Quick
