DO NOT PHONE, check in on our website. Savageshooters.com info only. The new #1018 (Description below) will be available shortly. Finished the mold last week. Just gotta finish up some loose ends and it will be complete. I would guess we will open up ordering by Feb 1st if not a week or few days earlier.

    "M40 style"
    -Long Action
    -Heavy Barrel
    -Blind Mag
    -Stagger Feed

Even though I have a "list" to work from, what would you all like to see next? I'll be at SHOT and one of the first items on my list is to catch up with my good friend at Savage to talk numbers (production numbers on rifles). I'm still thinking a LA M40 with factory detachable mag would be great but not sure numbers support it. Guess I'd be looking to Savage up one of our new adjustable styles after that. Thoughts?

We NEED a LA stock for later centerfeed BDM Savages. I have 2 in the safe with the accustock that I'm just not happy with, so much so that they just stay there because I don't have good options to build off of them without spending $800 on a custom stock. There are tons of them out there, and I know guys who would love to replace the stocks on their long range hunters as well.

What I'm thinking is make this with options you list but in CF.
You then can sell it to both CF and SF owners.
Offering only in SF requires work to install CF magazine components.
SF (attached box) will drop into CF stocks (blind mag) no modifications needed.

I bet you couldn't make a Target/Comp model for both long and short actions fast enough...

Congrats! It looks good. I have three of the sporters (#2980) and I'm sold on B&C quality. Keep up the good work :-)

The target/competition stock or grayboe renegade style inlet for SA factory dbm, bottom bolt as well as some stock options already inlet for CDI dbm or whatever savage compatible dbm like you did with the m5 dbm cuts for remington.
