I would buy the Bushnell because of the reviews compared to the Nikon reviews. My opinion don't mean much as I have neither. One thing I do know, you can beat Midway's price.

I have the Bushnell. I've owned it for 5 years and have moved it to several different barrels on my T/C Encore system and it's been on my Sav Mod 10 as my first scope for Mid Range F Class (500 yards). I know use a Millett 6-25x56 for F Class..... 30mm tube with lots of light. The Bushnell 4200 is a fine scope that fits a budget - you don't see me selling it..... right? I've got two Nikons..... the one I like the most is the Buckmaster 6-18x40. Awesome glass and the fine hair cross hair dot is wicked.

I think you would be happy with either one...... pick the one that supports the budget.

I've got the Bushnell. I had the reticle changed to a fine X hair & 1/8 dot. It's a fine scope.

Thanks for all the replies. Have decided to go with a Weaver T36.
