    Bolt Action Noob from Atlanta


    Hey all,
    Joined b/c of something stupid I did when ordering a product (separate thread inbound). Didn't know the forum existed before I searched for solutions.

    I'm 42, active guitarist in 3 bands, many years history on AR platform (mostly M16A2 and my personal AR), new to bolt-action rifles (and hunting game). I've had a Savage Axis .308 for a while now.

    Chose the screen name from my old unit and the call-sign of my vehicle when I was active in a former life.

    I plan on asking my noob questions as I like to overthink stuff while at the same time lacking confidence in direction, especially when firearms are involved.
