22-250 swap

ive got a 110e 22-250 i want to rebarrel to a 243.what else do i need to change other than the barrel?

Case head is the same so unless you want to upgrade the recoil lug nothing else needs to be changed

thankyou sir what is a good place to get a 243 barrel for it?and is there any decent stocks for an older short action 110E

I've bought barrels off both AuctionArms and GunBroker. Take offs run from $40 to $135 dependant on caliber, length, sporter or varmit contour. New barrels made by Adams & Bennet are available from Midway for $139. Recently bought one from E R Shaw for $220 delivered to my door. Many choices for barrels you have to decide on amount too spend for whatever quality barrel your looking too purchase.

Boyds has very good laminated stocks for the Savage. Numrich Arms has factory stocks available. Stockys is another supplier although I haven't purchased any from them. Other two mentioned I've bought stocks from them.
