Test Cartrige

Does any one know which Cartrige Savage uses when they test fire the Model 12 F/TR .308 for accuracy?

If you own one, check the back of the owner's manual.....they put the test loads in there. I'd look for ya, but I don't have a recent one.

Talked to Savage the round they use for accuracy testing is the 168 gr match king sierra. But is this round the one that your model 12 will like and shoot the best?
