Nice. The stock looks nicely aged (dark with oil).
Since my dealer couldn't get an FV (for whatever reason) I've been looking at a BV, BRJ and even a BSEV, like golfbuddy's (though that is a bit on the expensive end).
Hello All!
I just picked up a used Savage Mark II BTV rifle today (pics shown below). It has beautiful wook, an accutrigger, a heavier target barrel, a smooth bolt and an awesome scope.
The scope is a BSA Platinum series, an 8-32 zoom, a course and fine focus, a sunshade, a 1/8 MOA/click adjustments, an illuminated reticle and a mil-dot.
I took it to the range today, bought some CCI Velocitor ammo (don't know what ammo it likes, yet), and did a very cursory zero of the sights, because 25Y is the max distance at this range. However, my last 25 shots are shown. I was very pleased, all 25 shots went into a 1" group with no outliers. I have a pic of the target below. I also purchased a bipod and a sling. I hope to use this at the next appleseed in our area. I am very pleased!

Thanks janizary ! Love my BSEV - yes it is more $$ but figure the cost of buying that custom stock and that custom stainless fluted barrel for another gun and it costs relatively less having the factory do all the work!
I shot today. I only was able to shoot 25Y, since the 50Y area was closed at the range I shoot at. I was very pleased. I got two very tiight groups with Wolf Match Ammo. I can't wait to get it to 50Y and 100 Y.
