Need help, my Savage LRH needs a new factory barrel

I have a Savage Long Range Hunter in 7MM Rem Mag that I fear needs a new barrel. I would get a McGowen, but they don't offer the adjustable muzzle brake. Would I do better to get a barrel directly from Savage or does anybody know where I could get the same barrel for less? Any advice would be appreciated.

Savage will not sell you a barrel.

I don't deal with muzzle brakes so have not researched that.

Might try switchbarrel.com or even Gunbroker and ebay.

You could have that barrel set back by a gun smith for a lot less coin, if there's nothing else wrong with it or you just don't like it. If it shot well before, it should shoot just as well after having it set back.

    Just a thought.
