Well guys, this is my first time on any forum of any kind so here goes. I'm a self trained recreational long range shooter, other than obvious firearms safety that my father taught me as a child. Im a college student/national guard tanker from Tn, Volunteers baby! I have been a savage owner for about one year exactly now. The reason I am joining this forum is because I have been nothing short of amazed with my savage since the first time I squeezed the trigger on it. Remember I am currently in college so all of my rifle builds to date have been budget builds. All you guys with shallower pockets like myself don't give up! I have a model 11 vt 308 that shoots dimes and I figured I could share my story to help other budget shooters along the way. Alot of what I have learned along the way has come from forums, youtube, and experience. Oh and the nickname is a long story so don't ask.
