Congrats. That is a cool paint job.
I put together a .243 for my wife and took her hunting this past weekend. She got her first deer with a nice 150yd shot on a little buck. Gun, shooter and my handloads all performed great.

Savage 110 .243, cut 2" off factory stock, reshaped the butt a bit, then did a custom paint job, "custom" gel wrist support under the sleeve for a cheek rest (works perfect).
243, 100gr Hornady Interlocks, 39gr IMR 4350

This is fabulous, and I know how great it is to harvest an animal with a Savage you put together yourself; even better for your wife to accomplish this. Kudos!
I never get tired of seeing that. Look at that smile! You can't fake that. If you think about it you just got the best gift your wife is now a hunting buddy also. Great job on every thing.
