    Mark ii action screws

I had originally tightened down my action screws pretty tight and accuracy went out the window. I loosened them way back and everything improved greatly. I broke down and bought the Wheeler Fat Wrench Digital and received it last night.
I was quite surprised at how tight 15 in lbs actually seemed to be. Going to make a special trip to the range tomorrow morning to see how it does, have my doubts because it seems pretty close to how tight I had it before I loosened them, but I could be wrong.
Going to take the fat wrench along if I need to adjust them and see just where I wind up.

Went to the range and with the screws tightened to 15 in lbs all looks good I'm glad to say.

The screws on my btvss are 6# on the rear and 9# on the front. Do you have the factory bottom metal? If so you will want to buy a heavy one, also an Apachee trigger kit is a good investment.
