    trigger guard question

    Need a trigger guard, but don't know ID of what i need.

    Blind magazine
    4.275" spacing of action bolts
    I have 2 guards, 1 plastic, 1 steel, neither fit.
    What trigger guard do I need, plastic or metal is fine at this point.
    Thanks;
    joe b.

    What fitting issues are you running into?
    If the stock is original, you could use savage parts finder.

    If something else, we need more info.
    Top or bottom bolt release. Accutrigger. Width and depth of inlet.

    The more info you share, the easier it will be to get help.

    With that action screw spacing it should be a flat back stagger feed top bolt release with the "flat" trigger guard to match the original stock or most aftermarket ones made for top bolt release. Take a look at this link and see if this helps you out at all. I didn't want to steal their photo to post so the link is best I can do.

    Are any of the ones you are trying to fit of this style?
