Alternative to Rockite??

I'm not finding any Rockite in my area. Is there another product that Lowe's carries that would work as well? I looked at some Concrete Anchor Adhesive today but don't know whether it would do the job. It is a two part mixture that mixes in the nozzle so I guess it would stick to the plastic stock.

If I can't find anything locally, I can order some Rockite, but need to know how much to get for the forend and pistol grip area of an AXIS.

Suggestions appreciated.

you could use anchoring cement not two part epoxy . small tub of cement its quick drying . mix to milk shake consistency and pour it in just under ribs . it wont shrink and does job well I used it in fore end and but stock. also hydraulic cement . also a cement it will cure in water and used to plug leaky foundations as it leaks . all are at home depot and lowes in concrete isle and less than epoxy tubes. ps it tightened up my groups well . don't forget to glue or epoxy trigger guard / it really helps stiffen stock up as well

JB Weld, you can get it at Crappy Tire. That is what I used. I think it took three 2-tube packs of it to do the forestock, so might end up more expensive than what I've read others claim how much Rockite costs (I didn't look for Rockite).

I did my Axis stock with Rockite. If I remember correctly the forend took 6 oz. (dry wt.) and the grip area another 4. I did not fill the buttstock, that seemed like it would unnecessary weight. I think Rockite comes in 1 and 4 lb boxes.

BTW, I found the Rockite at a True Value store.

Rockite is the same thing as grout. I used Quikrete Construction Grade Grout. My stock started out at 23 oz. (About 1.5 lbs.)

Doing the fore end brought the bare stock to 32 oz. (2 lbs.)

I then did a full fill in the Buttstock. That brought the stock to 59 oz. (3.688 lbs.)

Granted, Rockite is lighter, based on others' listed experiences. My gun is literally just under 12 lbs., with bipod and sling.
