Well my new Savage R93 BTVLSS in a .17 HMR has arrived at my local gun dealers store and its oh so pretty. I have to wait for my PERMIT TO AQUIRE to come back from the state police firearms registry, that could be a couple of weeks away still but its all coming together for me.<br />

All kidding aside that's a great looking gun. Your gonna love it. I have a 93r17 fvss and it is by far the rifle I shoot the most. In never even gets put away. Right now it's sitting on top a book shelf while I finish the basement in case a gopher pops up in the back yard lol. It accounted for 5 so far since we moved 6 weeks ago.

Thanks Jim, I've got high expectations from this rifle, when I tried it on in the shop it fit me nice and snug, I've never had a rifle with a thumb hole, it fits like a glove, and it is a splendid thing to look at. To say "I cant wait" is an understatement.
