Do I have Gen 1 or 2 Accustock? Bought on gunbroker

Bought a model 10 predator max 1. Serial no is H200344. Called savage and they could not give me any information.....Does someone know how to find out if it's gen 1 or 2 by serial number? Pictures didn't show bottom of gun and I didn't think to ask until after I bought it! Hoping its gen 2 but too late now!

If it is gen 1, can it be shot w/o wedge? If so, do you leave screw totally out of gun or put the screw in but just without the wedge?

any help would be appreciated!

H9017xx is the current serial number range. I would guess the 200xxx is a 1st gen. Remember that's a guess.

If there are 4 screw heads on the bottom of the stock it's a 1st Gen, if there's only 3 then it's a 2nd Gen.

Yes it can be shot w/o the wedge, and yes you'd leave the screw totally out as it threads into the wedge (wouldn't stay in if you wanted it to w/o the wedge).
