Not being able to see it, no information, date and condition at least would be needed. Acu trigger?

Fine for the project if its in good shape.

Action screw spacing depends on if its the older bolt release on the upper right or the newer bolt release a the bottom in front of the trigger

All long action screw spacings are the same. 5.062 the difference in the actions between Stagger Fed and Center Fed would be the the way the bottom port is cut effecting the stock magwell, and the Flat Back effecting the scope base. The more modern receiver is desirable if you want a DBM. The Flat Back is fine to use for a hunter or a single shot but can work as a tactical rifle as well just has fewer options stock wise.

I have not measured it, but the one I got looked like the action screw was moved to behind the bolt release.

    Screw under it?

Remove the action and measure from screw hole to screw hole.

Well if I can remove the action I can measure the screw spacing without doing so.

will look to see where it is, if its the same spacing it has to be hidden under the bolt release in front of the trigger.

No way you could move the trigger forward and keep the spacing the same.

    Have you measured it yet?
I'm interested to know what you find out.

RC20 has a bottom release model. When he pulls the release button rearward he will find the rear action screw. All savages use the front trigger guard screw as the rear action screw. I personally have never seen a 110 design rifle with the rear trigger guard screw going into the action. His spacing will be found to measure 5.062

I have not measured it yet but that is where it is and what I asked!

Not one of Savages better moves, most annoying place to put it, stick with the side release. hmm, smooth barrel nuts, what next, the barreless rifle?
