    A22 in Boyd's A17 stock

Finally got my pepper featherweight Thumbhole 6 weeks later and as I was sure my A22 dropped right in, took 10 minutes to change the stock and put the scope back on, good to go and ready to sight it in

I prefer the 'classic' stocks. I have an A17 in one now (a left hand one). Did you have to make any modifications of any kind to the A17 stock for it to fit the A22 or did you really just drop it in and tighten the bolts? I would really like to get one in the 'classic' style for my A22.

Also, how tight did you torque the bolts?

And did you tighten the rear one first? How is the clearance between the stock and the barrel?

yes the rear one first and then check the free float, used 3 $1 bills and they all slide in with room to spare, in fact just slid 5 bills in and they slid fine

I think I might give it a try and see what happens. Still only want the 'classic' style.

all I can tell you is my A22 dropped in with no mods to the stock at all, I have shot it a couple times and the A22 mag fits fine, also used a A17 mag with 22 WMR ammo in it and they cycled fine, the only thing I see different in the 2 mags is they say 17 Hmr and 22 Wmr on the backside

Curiosity got the best of me. I ordered the left-hand classic model in pepper finish. Might get it by December and hope they send a LEFT-HAND model this time. The last two stocks I ordered were right-hand models when I got them. Easy to send back and get replacements but that gets old after a while.

    Also ordered 2 more magazines.
